Hold your government-issued photo ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID) next to your face and take a clear selfie. That's the whole check — one photo, no forms.
We match the face to the ID
A member of the JSitter team quickly confirms the face in the selfie matches the photo on the ID, and that the name lines up with the account.
Green tick appears on your profile
Once approved, a Verified badge shows up on your bookings and messages so the other side knows they're dealing with a real, checked person.
Our commitments to you
Your selfie stays private
Only the JSitter admin team can view your ID selfie. It's never shown on public profiles or shared with other users.
Usually reviewed same-day
Most submissions are approved within a few hours. If anything is unclear, we'll get in touch.
Optional — but recommended
Verification isn't required to use JSitter, but verified members stand out and earn rewards points too.

Verification isn't just for sitters. Parents can take the same one-selfie check so sitters know they're heading to a real, checked family — and both sides earn bonus rewards points for doing it.
